ANNUAL OUTCOME SURVEY OF 4P PROJECT; BACKYARD POULTRY FOR INCOME GENERATION OF RURAL WOMEN

Funding Source and Objective
The Smallholder Agribusiness Development Programme (SAPP) has been designed to contribute Sri Lanka’s smallholders’ poverty reduction and competitiveness. Its primary objective is to sustainably increase household income and quality of family diet by establishing confirmed market for rural producers under Public Private Producer Partnership (4P) mechanism. The SAPP is implementing under Ministry of Agriculture and financially funded by the International Funds for Agriculture Development (IFAD).
The backyard poultry project is implementing under 4P mechanism with the objective of capacity of back yard egg production and supply to the organized market with quality and quantity required under stable price.

Contract Objective
Infotechs IDEAS is responsible for providing consultancy services to conduct the Annual outcome survey of the project. The Annual outcome survey is conducting to assess the progress achieved against the project interventions and provide quantitative and qualitative interpretations on specific indicators as reflected in the project M & E frame work and provide suggestions to the programme to improve project’s support to achieve targeted outcomes during the project implementation period.

Total Cost: Sri Lankan Rupees 1,855,000.00
Contract Period: December 2023 to March 2024

Final Output
The final output is to assess the progress and to provide suggestions to the programme to improve project’s support to achieve targeted outcomes during the project implementation period.
